Rescue Me ID: 18-01-11-00266Paco Jack(ie) (female)

Burmese Mix    Age: Young Adult

Health: Spayed

to see more pictures go to cnps.petfinder.com then click on 'view our pets' Paco Jack(ie) is a beautiful short hair chocolate black female approx. 3yr. Her adoption fee is $75. She has been vet checked and spayed. I say Jack(ie) because I have been calling her a him the whole time I've fostered him! She is great with other nice cats, calm kids and dogs. She was taken into rescue when mom got sick. PETS ARE FAMILY MEMBERS. PLEASE GET HELP IF YOU CAN NOT KEEP A PET. MAKE THE EFFORT! After Jack(ie) has adjusted she will follow you around the house like a dog, she will play in boxes, grab stuffed mice by the tail and walk around meowing ... (Read More)to impress her people. She LOVES her canned food Friskies pate so a canned food home is a must. After her adjustment period she will be very social with her people. During quiet time if you make eye contact with her or touch her she will be all over you not wanting you to stop loving her. She can be a mushy lover girl or a real goofball. FYI - Too many male cats'| and female cats'|are getting the urinary tract infections and crystals in their urine and the vets are saying the food is at fault and cats are not getting enough fluids. We recommend canned food daily and the Hills or Royal Canine urinary dry food or go to a better quality natural pet food store for dry food. You pay a little more but in the long run the animal stays healthier, lives longer and is happier. Cats/Kittens are an 18 year commitment! They need a cat tree, laser lite, inside home ADOPT Paco Jack(ie) FOR LIFE! CNPS text 602-332-6615 email badkittyts@aol.com REMEMBER WHEN YOU ARE ADOPTING A PET YOU ARE ADOPTING A FAMILY MEMBER FOR LIFE! THEY ARE NOT THROW AWAY TOYS! WHEN YOU MOVE YOU TAKE YOUR CHILDREN, YOUR BELONGINGS, YOUR PETS. IT'S A LIFE, A COMMITMENT TO THE END. Rescue Me ID: 17-12-27-00362Butterfly (female)

Burmese Mix    Age: Young Adult

Health: Spayed

Butterfly and Cricket are a beautiful pair of sisters. They do not have to be adopted together but if you're looking for two new family members these two are special! Calico and torti short hair females approx. 2yr. Their adoption fee is $75 ea. They have been vet checked and spayed. They should be ok with other nice cats after an adjustment period but were scared of my dogs. Cruel neighbors left these two inside cats, outside on the doorstep when they moved. Even though there was a feral cat feeding station nearby they sat there waiting, getting skinnier and skinnier. When the 'cat lady' of the neighborhood found out she took them in, ... (Read More)got them vetted, loved and fed. It's taken 9mo to get them fat again! Fyi'|a feeding station is where feral-wild cats are TNR'd - trapped neutered released and fed. Cats form colonies like this because irresponsible people abandon them, tossing them out like trash. They roam to find food then a loving caring concerned citizen starts feeding these starving cats forming a feeding station. They get TNR'd to prevent kittens, ear tipped so others know that these cats are fixed. The cats 'work' for us taking care of the mice, roof rats, scorpions and roaches but they must be fixed. PETS ARE FAMILY MEMBERS. PLEASE GET HELP IF YOU CAN NOT KEEP A PET. MAKE THE EFFORT! Butterfly and Cricket'|Total opposites do attract! Butterfly the calico (with white) is more adventurous, curious and will adjust to probably any nice person. Cricket the torti (black and orange) will need more time to adjust and when she does she will probably attach herself to one or two of her people. Butterfly will be out and about putting on the show, not much of a lap cat and doesn't care to be held but will come and sit by you wanting her pets and rubs. Cricket will be totally content laying on your lap reading or watching TV. She is quieter, you can pick her up, give her kisses and she will be happy. They will play together, eat together, sleep together, and keep each other company when their people are away. They love interactive toys like feather on a stick or shoe lace drag. They love to scratch on the corrugated cardboard scratchers ($8 at PetSmart) and would love a nice big cat tree to lounge in (I have connections :). Butterfly likes up high in the cat tree to grab you for hugs when you walk by and Cricket down lower expecting pets. Cats/Kittens are an 18 year commitment! They need a cat tree, laser lite, inside home ADOPT Butterfly and/or Cricket FOR LIFE! lnteresting Burmese Trivia Low-Cost Arizona Spay & Neuter Clinics
The eyes of a Burmese are so expressive and persuasive as to be considered hypnotic by many enthusiasts. Burmese are highly dependent on their humans and have very little wild survival instinct; they should not be allowed out on their own. Burmese became popular in England after World War II, when returning soldiers brought the cats home as pets. Burmese have many unusual color variations. The first blue Burmese was born in the fifties. Burmese are the antecedents of the Bombay.
