I found a loving home for my cat Ladybug. A wonderful couple drove 10 hours together and return home with her. They were such a thoughtful couple, they had the van all set up for her to be comfy on the long ride back. They took all of her things, litter box, scratch post, because they had my scent and hairs on them. They sent me texts and pictures to show she is settling in. What a blessing! I miss her, but feel so lucky to have a wonderful forever home. I had many responses, and all from wonderful families, some just too far away and I didn't want to send her by transport. What a wonderful service you do for those of us who love our pets, but can't continue to keep them. Thank you sincerely, Rescue Me! -Donna

My husband and I adopted Cleopatra from Nancy. Cleo flew across country where we picked her up. She is adapting to our home and our personalities quite well. We look forward to many years of loving her. We tried to adopt a cat from a Rescue service and found it a very frustrating experience. We could have adopted a child much easier, we believe. Rescue Me proved to be far superior and we are extremely satisfied with our experience of adopting Cleo.

Rescue Me found a wonderful home for our foster kitten, Minnie. In just a few days after posting Minnie's info, I got an email from the lovely woman who adopted her. She is a very caring kitten mom who wanted to buy Minnie's favorite food and toys and even a cat climbing structure for her. We are thrilled Minnie found such a loving home. I would definitely use Rescue Me again.

I have always had Burmese cats in the ministry. They are known for their affection towards humans, and this has made them the monk's favorite breed. I was transferred here to the U.S. and could not bring my little friend with me... I was heartbroken. Upon my arrival I started my search. I joined the Rescue Me network and lo and behold an announcement came that Chloe was up for adoption. My heart stopped. My heart told me this was God's wish. I finally got my Burmese!!!!! Thank you Rescue Me for this site. Bless you all, Dr. Jean-Luc Cotto

Hello to all who read this. Thank you, Jeff Gold, what a wonderful person you are. Charlie is so lucky, firstly to have a great organization like Rescue Me! to work with, and secondly, a lovely lady, Anne, who has adopted him. He now lives with Anne, her son and Bob the Labrador Retriever. As for myself and my wife Jo, this whole experience has given us heaps of joy. Nice to know there are such lovely, caring people on our planet. Again, Jeff, thank you. Our best wishes to you and yours, Andy and Jo.

This site worked very well. I got several inquiries from around the area. This site found him a home in need of adopting another cat. Lord Pinkerton will do just fine with his new friends. Thank you.

Thank you for having this web site for Burmese cats that need a home. My champagne Burmese was in need of a home because I could no longer take care of him and I had good responses to adopt him. A very nice lady contacted me and Marcel was taken to his new loving home. He is in very good company and receiving lots of love. The new owner keeps me posted of how he is doing and he looks great. I am so happy that through this site, I was able to find a wonderful home for him. Thanks : ) Karen

This site was instrumental in finding Henery a home. However, I found out that he is not a Burmese but a Snowshoe cat. Thank you for having this site. I can say, however, that many people in the US are looking for a special Burmese to be their pet. I had quite a few inquiries which I answered.

Jack and Tonka were adopted by another woman from NJ. I am so happy that they found a loving home. I wasn't sure if someone would be willing to adopt two 13 year old cats, but we were lucky. It wasn't easy to say goodbye to them, but I know they will have a wonderful new home. Thank you for the use of your website. It helped save our two pets, and relocate them to a safe and loving environment.
